Expand when space is the obstacle
Inspect Upgrade Farm near your plot when you need room for more Animals. The game describes base expansion as a way to hold more Animals. Read the current level and offer before spending, then check the space available for the next delivery.
Base room is a different problem from slow travel, low Strength or limited carrying capacity. Choose expansion when you can use the room. Do not assume the other capacity limits change with it.
Inspect the Upgrade Farm board
Look near your own plot for the Upgrade Farm board and its level progression. Read what the next offer provides and the current cost. Decide using that offer, rather than a price or maximum level from another player’s save.
Check that you are evaluating your own base. Your collection and available room determine whether an expansion helps now. A large premium collection on another plot does not establish what a starter upgrade should cost or how much space every level adds.
Before a distant collection trip, decide where you will put the next delivery. Check the space now, before you return with an Egg.
Keep the capacity systems separate

Buying Carry does not substitute for expanding your plot. Likewise, a larger base does not tell you how many Eggs you can transport at once. Check the system whose limit is actually stopping the next step.
If you can already bring an Egg home but need additional room for collection growth, inspect the base offer. If room is available and repeated trips are the obstacle, compare carrying or movement instead.
Compare room with improving existing Animals
More room supports a larger collection, while an Animal upgrade increases income. When Cash is limited, compare the current expansion offer with the next useful income upgrade. Think about the Animal or delivery that will use the extra space.
Expansion is easier to justify when a specific collection opportunity is ready. If you are not collecting another Egg yet, inspect whether improving an existing Animal or gaining access to a useful area addresses the immediate problem more directly.
Use these checks to choose your next purchase, not as a fixed buying order. Your room, earnings, current prices and next route determine what helps. Decide what the first purchase should achieve before spreading Cash across several menus.
Review the plot after expanding
Check the updated board and available room after the purchase. Then finish the delivery and hatching work that motivated the expansion. Judge the bigger plot by the Animals it can accommodate, rather than the change in its level number.
Placed Eggs can be incubating or ready to open. Read those states before deciding that an unfinished Egg is a capacity problem. Check hatch progress and the need for more room separately.
