Open Buy Upgrades and read +1 Speed
Go to Buy Upgrades in the hub and inspect the +1 Speed row. Read the current value, the next value and the button’s price before choosing it. If your starter offer displays FREE, use that offer; check the next price again after the purchase.
Speed addresses movement along your collection route. It is a useful menu to inspect when the return trip takes too long, but it does not replace Strength for breaking walls or Carry for transporting more Eggs.
Claim the starter offer without assuming every upgrade is free
The tutorial says Claim your FREE Speed upgrade and points toward Buy Upgrades. The starter row showed 20 to 21 with a FREE button. A later row showed 32 to 33 for $1.22k. These offers are dated 2026-09-27; read your own current row before buying.
Read each offer separately. The free first step does not give you unlimited free Speed. The menu also shows Robux alternatives, so check the exact button instead of pressing an adjacent paid option while following a free tutorial instruction.
After buying, look at the current Speed value and the new offer. Decide again before buying the next increment. Do not keep purchasing just because the previous button was affordable.
Decide whether movement is the problem
Make a normal collection trip and identify where time is going. If travel dominates a route you can already clear and complete, compare the next Speed offer. If the wall is the obstacle, build Strength first. If you can return easily but want to bring more Eggs, inspect Carry instead.
| Problem on the next trip | System to inspect |
|---|---|
| Travel to the Egg and back feels slow | +1 Speed |
| A wall takes too long to break | Training and dumbbells |
| Carrying capacity limits the trip | +1 Carry |
| The plot needs room | Upgrade Farm |
| A placed Egg is still counting down | Its hatch state |
Use this check before spending on movement for a problem another system handles. Speed belongs to the return route, while a ready-to-open Egg at home needs an interaction rather than another upgrade.
Compare the next price with another useful purchase
Read the current Cash cost and think about what you are delaying by spending it. The same balance can support equipment, Animal improvements or base room. Choose a movement increment when it addresses the route you are actively repeating.
Avoid copying the Speed number from a premium showcase. A boosted collection can support purchases at a very different pace. Budget using your own income and the offers in your menu.
Test the route after a purchase before buying several more. Keep the path and collection goal similar so that you can judge whether movement is still the main limitation. If another problem now dominates, switch your attention to that system.
Keep upgrades distinct from the Speed toggle
Some gameplay interfaces show a Speed ON/OFF toggle as well as the current Speed value. Treat a toggle and a +1 Speed purchase as different controls. Read the current interface and test the toggle’s behavior on your client instead of assuming it buys a new stat increment.
For transporting more Eggs, read the Carry upgrades guide. For the full starter route, use the beginner guide.
FAQ
Where do I upgrade Speed?
Find Buy Upgrades in the hub and inspect its +1 Speed row. Read the current and next values plus the purchase currency.
Is the first upgrade free?
The starter tutorial and the 20 to 21 offer display FREE. Use the current button shown by your own menu and check its terms before selecting an alternative.
Are later Speed upgrades also free?
Do not assume that. A later offer had a Cash price, so read the next row after every purchase.
Does Speed increase Strength?
Speed is a movement upgrade. For slow wall progress, inspect training and your dumbbell rather than treating movement as Strength.
Does the Speed toggle buy another upgrade?
Treat it as a separate interface control. Inspect its behavior on your client; the +1 Speed row is the place to read a stat purchase offer.
